Celebrate your everyday.

3 weeks until Christmas!

We have just over three weeks until Christmas Day rolls around and it's time to begin focusing on planning Christmas Day - party plans, menu plans and cooking timelines.

Each week a new list of seven daily tasks will be posted here on the blog, or you can follow along on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter.

Make sure you download your free printable editable table place cards here. You can type your guest names directly into the template and then print, cut and fold them ready for when you set the table.

This week's Christmas countdown tasks are:

TUESDAY 21 sleeps until Christmas: begin to plan your Christmas Day.

Whether you're hosting a party before Christmas or on the big day itself, having a plan is the key to making your party a success. Click here to print your own Christmas Day Planner.

WEDNESDAY 20 sleeps until Christmas: plan your Christmas Day menu.

Plan the menu and write it into your free printable menu planner. Then write a shopping list and begin to buy non-perishables on the list. Click here for your Christmas Menu Plan.

THURSDAY 19 sleeps until Christmas: plan your Christmas Day running schedule.

Decide what time each menu item is to be served, then work backwards to establish when it will need to be prepared and cooked to ensure your event runs smoothly. Click here for your Christmas Day Timeline.

FRIDAY 18 sleeps until Christmas: print place cards for the table.

Click here to download your own free printable Christmas table place card template and print the place cards for your Christmas table, then make your seating plan. Tag us in a photo of your table on Instagram!

SATURDAY 17 sleeps until Christmas: record Christmas movies to watch.

Whether it's The Polar Express with the kids or Love Actually for the adults, make sure you plan for a little relaxed Christmas movie watching for the great feel-good factor.

SUNDAY 16 sleeps until Christmas: gather some Christmas Day essentials.

Make sure you have plenty of batteries and scissors on hand for releasing toys from their packaging; buy disposable foil containers to cook vegetables in to cut down on the washing up later.

MONDAY 15 sleeps until Christmas: plan your Christmas table decorations.

Gather together Christmas bon-bons, tablecloth, placemats, table runner, napkins and decorations. Keep them together in a box so that they're ready to go.

And, altogether, this week's tasks on a checklist because we love to tick!
