The story so far...
Nowadays, everyone seems to feel that she has too much to do and not enough time to do it in. Whether you’re a mother or a student, whether you’re working part-time or full-time, you probably have a to-do list a mile long leaving little or no room for you to enjoy your day. But it doesn’t have to be this way . . .
Like many new mothers, I found the transition from working girl to stay-at-home mum to be quite a shock. Wonderful, yes, but I craved some routine in a routine-less environment. Fast forward a few years and a few kids, I realised that the reason I felt overwhelmed was that I had my to-do list swirling around in my head but hardly anything on it seemed to get done. To become truly productive, I needed a diary or a planner that I could use not just for appointments but for task lists, meal planning and more. And let’s be honest, it had to look good or I wouldn’t feel motivated to keep using it.
And so the Lorna Leigh Lane planner was born. I quickly discovered that when my tasks were recorded for the appropriate day and in an organised way, my mind became free to focus on what I needed to be doing at that moment, whether it was keeping an appointment on time, doing something that I loved or simply enjoying my day-to-day routine.
Fast forward a few more years and a change in personal circumstances, including a move to the other said of the world, means I've made the difficult decision to not produce a Lorna Leigh Lane planner for 2019. I plan to produce the planner again when we return, hopefully next year, but in the meantime, I’ll still be blogging here at lornaleighlane.com.au so feel free to get in touch or check in for updates.
Wishing you all the very best for your busy days!
